About Ele Ivory
Ele Ivory is a Nashville based up and coming indie artist/songwriter. Ele is the 2019 recipient of BMI’s John Lennon Scholarship Award. Ele was featured on season 15 of NBC’s THE VOICE as a Comeback Artist with Coach Kelsea Ballerini.
Ele began playing piano at an early age, but then became involved in the musical theatre community in her hometown, Atlanta. She worked professionally in theatre until returning to the piano and began songwriting at age eleven under the mentorship of award winning songwriter Cindy Morgan. Ele made the move to Nashville in 2012 to be immersed in the songwriting community. While gathering skills as a songwriter and taking her influences, like Alicia Keys, Pink, Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow, Ele has shaped her own style.
Ele began working last fall with producer, Ben Cooper and released her debut EP, “On Vinyl” in May. Each song on the EP was written straight from her heart and makes them relatable to the listener in the most powerful of ways. Ele explains, “My desire is to always be an encourager and to write music that will be memorable and timeless.”
Ele has played several Spotlight Shows at the legendary Bluebird Cafe and was a featured artist at Music City Roots. She has played Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, the Georgia Theatre and is a regular player at The Bluebird Cafe’s Writer’s Night. Ele is a two time GRAMMY Camp participant and is currently traveling and playing shows to promote her EP.
